Getting ready for Christmas in the store!

I can't believe we already set up the store for Christmas. Every year we close the store for a full day and completely transform it into a wonderland.

I'll be honest, I wasn't excited about it this year. I didn't feel ready to hear the music and drag the flock covered trees up from the basement. I was feeling more bah humbug than cheery elf but when you own a store, you gotta put on your big girl pants and get to it!

We had already done a little preview because we needed photos for the website. My Cavapoo pup, Levi, helped out a little for that. I can't believe how stinking' cute this photo turned out. I mean, puppies make EVERYTHING cuter!

Fortunately for me, we have a great team who somehow managed to make the day a success and a lot of fun too. Everyone teamed up in twos and had their own areas. There was singing, laughing, pizza eating and about 800 trips up and down the basement steps. Ok, so let me show you how it all turned out!

Abbey and Claire were the only ones who wanted to pose for a pic! Abbey Lemmons and Claire LeGrand setting up silver and gold Christmas tree at The White Rabbit

They're so awesome and their silver and gold area looks great!

There's a pastel area because pink is sooo popular right now. Aren't the stockings cute too?

Magical glitter deer and snowy little houses are my FAVORITE!

A huge section of the store is more of a Farmhouse red, green and white with galvanized touches theme. We almost never do the color red. My mom and I have always been so very muted in our color schemes but this year it just felt right. We kept seeing such pretty red Christmas decor at Market so we decided it was meant to be this year. I hope you guys like it!

Tracie is SO good at mixing vintage and new. She's amazing and so fast at displaying! Here's her mantel.

Shop the fresh cut trees sign!

Shop the little red berry wreaths!

Alyson made this great centerpiece after my mom and I sort of came up with the idea of the truck. She brought our idea to life and that's what is so cool about teamwork! She added lights in the greenery and I love the little buffalo check bow she made.

We've already sold out of this large metal sign that Alyson attached to this old barn door. I called the company to get more and they are sold out too! NOOOOOOO!!!! If you got one, you're so lucky! They're gone forever!

What we do have a lot of however is the pine garland! It. Is. Amazing. Probably my favorite thing we've ever carried in the store because it's a reasonable price and it is sooooooo much more real looking than any faux pine I've ever seen. I see people sniff it every year and then they buy like 6 strands of it. Do you need some? We can ship it to you!

Here it is on a tabletop with some cute plaid deer.

Another area is our more woodsy(Is that a word??) natural theme. Its sort of like what you'd find in a quiet cabin in the woods where you'd sip cocoa and avoid the craziness of the holidays in the city. Diana and Kara quietly perfected this area of the store. I was so impressed at how great it looks because they had a little less to work with than some other areas.

I love what they did with the old sled. These are so cool on a front porch!

Of course when you're decorating a store you can't forget the windows! This is probably my favorite thing we did that day. (and by "we" i mean Michelle and Becky!)

Isn't it magical?!?! They did such a great job! I want my windows at home to look like this!

The store has officially been transformed and although it's not even Halloween yet, I bet if you stop in, you'll catch just a little of that Christmas cheer that has finally won me over and gotten me excited for the Holidays. I'd love to hear what theme you're going with for the holidays this year! Are you traditional? Silver and gold?
