was founded by mother daughter team, Angie and Lindsay. The St. Louis boutique is filled with vintage and vintage inspired finds for enthusiasts of all ages. 2008 proved to be a tough year for the duo, battling breast cancer and then losing the store to a flood, but they prevailed and are stronger than ever. "We could not have started over without the support and encouragement of the community. St. Louis is home to a lot of truly caring, enthusiastic women who have made owning a store fun and rewarding for both of us", Angie and Lindsay tell their customers.
Always hunting for the best in shabby, cottage, and garden goodies, Angie is at the heart of the merchandise in the store. She has a true addiction to magazines, a love for animals (especially her two Shih-Tzus), and a knack for creating a welcoming and cozy look in the store. She battled with breast cancer in 2008 and is now cancer free.
Her daughter, Lindsay, who recently graduated with degrees in psychology and sociology, discovered a passion for the "business" side of things and decided to join her mom in the retail adventure. She also paints furniture and can often be seen running around the store covered in paint!
With years of hard work, determination, a little bit of luck, and a lot of early mornings at flea markets, the two have created a successful store that is a fun and unique place to shop in St. Louis. They can both truly say that they love going to work in the morning and they are living a dream come true.
" Many thanks to all of our customers who have made
The White Rabbit a success!"
